Andrea Wagner is responsible for international studies and special studies, especially with a focus on regional economics and socio-demographics. In the area of location analyses she is specifically responsible for the topics quality of life and openness (OPENCities). She is also responsible for projects in the field of governance as well as migration and integration.
Andrea Wagner (Dr. oec.-publ.) studied economics with a focus on social and economic history at the Universities of Munich and Cambridge (UK). From 1999 to 2004, she was a research assistant at the Chair of Social and Economic History at the University of Munich, teaching macroeconomics and social and economic history. From 2005 to 2006 she was a lecturer at the Chair of Social and Economic History and in 2006 she wrote her doctoral thesis on the subject of quality of life in Germany.
