Andrea Wagner is responsible for international studies and special studies, mainly with regional economic and sociodemographic aspects. In the field of location analysis, she is specifically responsible for the topics of life quality and openness (OPENCities). She is also responsible for projects in the area of governance as well as migration and integration.

Andrea Wagner (Dr. oec.-publ.) Has studied economics at the universities of Munich and Cambridge (UK) with a focus on social and economic history. From 1999 to 2004 she was a research associate at the Chair of Social and Economic History at the University of Munich with teaching activities in the fields of market economy and social and economic history. From 2005 to 2006, she was a lecturer at the Chair of Social and Economic History and in 2006 she gave a doctorate in economics on the topic of quality of life in Germany.
